The Origins of Japan’s Finest Wagyu: Tamura Beef

Tamura Beef is a breed of black-haired Wagyu descended from Tajima cattle, known as the origin of all branded Wagyu in Japan. Tamura Beef, in particular, is raised under ideal conditions, carefully selecting only pure Tajima cows or virgin Tajima-line heifers. Its exceptional quality is maintained through unique techniques. Having won numerous top awards at the National Competitive Exhibition of Meat Carcasses, Tamura Beef is a Wagyu truly deserving of the title of Japan’s finest.

Tamura Beef: Raised in a Carefully Curated Environment with Special Feed

Normally, cattle are shipped at 28 months, but Yonezawa Sato Livestock extends the age to 33 months or more in pursuit of deliciousness. Even extending the age by one month increases feed costs and the risk of death, but the company works hard every day with its cattle in order to produce high-quality cattle.
